We’re thrilled to welcome Yi Wen Shao (She/Her) from SIECCAN (Sex Information & Education Council of Canada) as our third speaker at PSD CON!

Yi Wen is a Project Coordinator with SIECCAN ( @_sieccan ), where she leads the Enhancing Effective Sexual Health Promotion with Autistic and Disabled Youth project. With graduate training in public health focused on social and behavioural health sciences, Yi Wen brings expertise in health promotion and a commitment to advancing inclusive, evidence-based sexual health education.

We’re thrilled to share that Dr. Karyn Harvey is returning as a speaker at the Prairie Sexuality & Disability Conference 2025!

Dr. Harvey has over 35 years of experience in the field of intellectual disabilities, holds a Ph.D. in Applied Developmental Psychology, and has authored three influential books on trauma and healing. She continues to provide therapy, publish, and lead trainings across the U.S. and Canada on trauma-informed care and leadership. She is also deeply committed to supporting healthy relationships, dating, and sexuality for people with disabilities, bringing compassion and practical expertise to this vital conversation.

We’re so excited to welcome her back!
