India Night, hosted by Cultural Connections Regina, is one of our city’s most anticipated fundraising events, attracting over 650 attendees annually. What started as a small gathering has blossomed into a prestigious evening of Indian cuisine, vibrant multicultural entertainment, and meaningful community impact. In 2024, the event raised an impressive $142,200 in support of the RSO in Schools Program, a testament to the strength of our community’s collaboration and the generosity of those who came together to make a lasting impact.

Yi Wen is a Project Coordinator with SIECCAN ( @_sieccan ), where she leads the Enhancing Effective Sexual Health Promotion with Autistic and Disabled Youth project. With graduate training in public health focused on social and behavioural health sciences, Yi Wen brings expertise in health promotion and a commitment to advancing inclusive, evidence-based sexual health education.

We’re thrilled to share that Dr. Karyn Harvey is returning as a speaker at the Prairie Sexuality & Disability Conference 2025!

Dr. Harvey has over 35 years of experience in the field of intellectual disabilities, holds a Ph.D. in Applied Developmental Psychology, and has authored three influential books on trauma and healing. She continues to provide therapy, publish, and lead trainings across the U.S. and Canada on trauma-informed care and leadership. She is also deeply committed to supporting healthy relationships, dating, and sexuality for people with disabilities, bringing compassion and practical expertise to this vital conversation.

We’re so excited to welcome her back!
