Today we celebrate the health professionals who bring compassion, care, and reassurance into the lives of the people we support.

Whether it’s coordinating appointments, monitoring health and wellness, advocating for someone’s health needs, or simply taking the time to listen, our nurses play an important role in helping people feel safe, supported, and cared for.

We see the patience, kindness, and dedication you bring every day, and we’re so grateful for the meaningful impact you make in our community.

Thank you for all that you do!

Behind every moment of encouragement, connection and care is a DSP helping make it possible.

This Disability Support Professionals Week, we’re highlighting some of the many ways DSPs support people every day — often in ways that happen quietly behind the scenes, but make a lasting impact. It’s work rooted in connection, trust, and helping people feel safe, respected, and a welcomed member of their neighbourhood and community.

Thank you to all DSPs for the compassion, dedication, and care you bring every single day.

More Mother’s Day throwbacks! 💐

We’re sharing a few special photos of Jamie and Jarred with their moms. 📸

Through every stage of life, moms continue to show up with love, support, and care and these moments capture a little bit of that.

A little throwback for Mother’s Day! 💐

Behind the people at COR are moms who helped shape the kindness and care they bring into the world today.

Every person has someone who believed in them, supported them, and helped shape who they are along the way.

To the moms who helped raise the people behind COR, thank you!

May 10–16, 2026 marks Disability Support Professionals Week in Saskatchewan — a time to recognize and celebrate the incredible people who walk alongside others every single day with compassion, dedication, and heart.

We are beyond grateful for our entire COR team. Your work changes lives. You create spaces of belonging, build relationships rooted in trust, and support people in living full and meaningful lives within community.

The impact you make cannot always be easily measured — it’s found in moments of connection, dignity, laughter, growth, and care. You show up every day with kindness, patience, creativity, and commitment, and our organization is stronger because of you.

Thank you for the work you do, the relationships you build, and the difference you make in the lives of so many. You are appreciated more than words can express.

So, are you the “take charge” one, the organized one, the creative one… or a mix of them all? 💭

ColourSpectrums facilitator Ben shares how this training is all about understanding the mix that makes you, YOU! This training helps you recognize your strengths, notice where you can grow, and see how your colours show up in different situations.

We had the opportunity to host a Rattle Making Workshop with kêhtê-ayak Nina Wilson and her oskâpêwis helper, Daniel Sangrey.

Participants created traditional rattles using elk hide while learning about their meaning and significance. In the Nehiyawak creation story it is taught that the beginning of the universe was sound. The rattle represents this sound through its rumbling & thunder-like voice. They are also connected to spring as the Nehiyawak spring starts when the first thunderstorm arrives. The rattle also accompanies the drum, with the drum being the heartbeat of turtle island (Kokum turtle) and the rattle being the rhythm of that heartbeat.

Thank you to Nina and Daniel for sharing their knowledge and to everyone who joined us. It was a meaningful experience centered on learning, culture, and connection!
