Recruitment Needs for 2025-2026
The Board of Directors is seeking up to two (2) candidates from a broad range of industries. We are particularly interested in individuals with experience in:
- Leadership & Strategic Oversight: Demonstrated ability to lead, think strategically, and contribute to high-level discussions. Experience in executive leadership, strategic planning, or organizational development is highly valued.
- Governance Expertise: A strong understanding of fiduciary responsibilities, legal compliance, and best practices in
board governance. Experience with strategic planning, risk management, and performance evaluation is essential. - Financial Oversight: Proven ability to understand and interpret financial statements and ensure financial
accountability.
The following areas of experience are considered an asset:
- Disability Services or Health/Medical – Experience and understanding of disability services sector and/or health and medical field experience. Understanding of equitable access to appropriate, accessible, and high-quality health care needs for people experiencing disability.
- Talent Management and Compensation — Understanding of HR principles and practices including employment law, labor standards, succession planning, and compensation strategy.

We are soliciting people interested in the Director role to submit a CV by no later than April 30, 2025. Short listed candidates will be approached regarding appointment in the April/May timeframe with the intention that new Directors would participate in the Board’s June 2025 meeting.
