Mental Health Initiative
COR, in partnership with the Ministry of Health, Regina Qu’Appelle Health Region (RQHR) Mental Health and Addiction Services (MH&AS) and the Ministry of Social Services, Community Living Service Delivery (CLSD) have made great strides to improving the quality of support for individuals with an intellectual/developmental disability and a mental health diagnosis.
Through a new partnership, COR has two (2) dedicated employees, a Director of Mental Health Supports and a Mental Health Specialist, focusing solely on improving the quality of life of individuals supported by COR through direct collaboration with MH&AS professionals. This partnership allows for seamless access to MH&AS services, community options and crisis support, enhanced employee training opportunities and co-case management responsibilities.
