THANK YOU SO MUCH to everyone that purchased tickets to the Sexuality & Disability conference! The event is officially sold out.

We are happy to announce another presentation being featured at the conference, Tell It Like It Is: Sexual Health and Wellness Education, presented by Kirby Brigden and Kristyn White. Tell It Like It Is assists diverse learners and the people that support them in making life choices that promote optimal wellness in all dimensions of life. The curriculum consists of 9 modules covering a range of topics and concepts pertaining to relationships, dating, gender identity, sexual identity, personal hygiene, safer sex practices, and more. We are excited to discuss this important resource, and debut a new sexual health video series we have been working hard on!

We are excited to welcome Benjamin Bruce (He/Him) from CFS - Sexual Health Centre (Calgary) to the Sexuality and Disability conference on October 7th, where he will share his presentation: "Surfing for Love: A Rights-Based Approach To Digital Dating".

Benjamin is the People with Developmental Disabilities Project Coordinator and Facilitator at the Centre for Sexuality, and is working on the Sexual and Reproductive Health Fund project. He has been involved in the disability sector for the past ten years as a support worker and advocate.

Join us on October 7th for Dr. Alan S. Martino's Keynote: ‘I don't want to get in trouble’: A Look at How Adults Labeled/with Intellectual Disabilities Navigate Barriers and Opportunities for Love and Intimacy.

COR, Inclusion Saskatchewan, and Saskatoon Sexual Health are thrilled to welcome Dr. Martino to the Sexuality & Disability conference.

Dr. Martino is an Assistant Professor in the Community Rehabilitation and Disability Studies program in the Department of Community Health Sciences at the University of Calgary. His main research interests are in critical disability studies, gender and sexualities; feminist and critical disability studies theories; qualitative and community-based research.
