Mik’s work plays an important role at Sticks & Doodles ( @sticksanddoodles ), and Kyle sees that every day.

From painting and staining to helping keep production moving, Mik brings care and consistency to his work, helping set the foundation for everything that comes next.

For Mik, it’s also the people around him that make the job special. With Kyle, Danelle and the rest of the team, he’s found a workplace where he feels understood, supported and part of something bigger.

We’re excited to welcome this year’s Self-Advocate Panel to PSD CON ’26! 🎤

We’ll be joined by Amanda Sebelius, Miranda Hoppe and Muriel Veitch from Saskatchewan Alternative Initiatives ( @saskalternativeinitiatives ) to this year’s Self-Advocate Panel. Brittany Zuleta will also be joining Natalya Mason in helping host the conversation.

Together, they’ll bring lived experience, connection, and their own perspectives to the stage, making space for a conversation shaped by the people at the heart of it.

Donna Flaman-Johnson, COR's Inclusive Employment Broker with 4to40, and Aaron Orban from the Audit & Information Management Branch, Ministry of Justice and Attorney General ( @skgov ) recently joined Jenelle Lippai on CTV Your Morning Saskatchewan ( @ctvymsask ) to talk about Disability Employment Awareness Month and what inclusive employment can look like in the workplace.

Donna spoke about the barriers people who experience intellectual disabilities can face when finding meaningful work, and how 4to40 walks alongside both employees and employers throughout the process. As she shared, “We provide ongoing support because we want long-term success for both the employee and the employer.”

Aaron also spoke about the broader impact of inclusive employment, sharing how making space for meaningful work can positively shape workplace culture, collaboration and teamwork.

Meet Jessie, a familiar face in the University of Regina’s Faculty of Kinesiology. 🏀 ( @uofreginaofficial )

From welcoming visitors at the client services desk to helping keep the facilities running, Jessie helps the Faculty put its best foot forward every day. As student staff come and go, he’s remained the constant, setting a positive example for everyone around him.

“He is the King of Kensington around here. He walks down the hallway and he knows everybody,” says Eric Exner, Director of Operations.

A great team can make all the difference, and Patrick has found that at SaskTel ( @sasktel ).

As a Warehouse Attendant, Patrick enjoys working alongside Margie, Nick (who is also under 4to40), Johnny and the rest of his team. Margie describes him as someone who gets the job done and is simply a great coworker to have around!
